New Year’s Day 2022

New Year’s Day is the first day of the year in a calendar, like for 2022 it will be observed on January 1, which is the first day of the year according to the modern Gregorian calendar and the Julian calendar. On this day the whole world will be celebrating New Year, wishing each other Happy New Year, many people often celebrate this day with fireworks at the stroke of midnight as the new year starts in each time zone.

New Year’s Day is one the most celebrated day on Earth, it is a public holiday. The whole world celebrates New Year’s Day on January 1 because most of the countries using the Gregorian calendar.

Some of the countries concurrently use a different calendar to represent their year, and they use a different traditional name for the New Year’s Day, for example, Cambodian New Year, Chinese New Year, Japanese New Year, Korean New Year, Thai New Year, Vietnamese New Year, etc.

Chinese New Year is also a very famous New Year celebration, normally it is celebrated between January 20 and February 20. It is celebrated in many countries around the world. It is the first day of the lunar calendar and is corrected for the solar every three years. The holiday is celebrated with food, families, lucky money (usually in a red envelope), and many other red things for good luck. Lion and dragon dances, drums, fireworks, firecrackers, and other types of entertainment fill the streets on this day.
